All-steel screw clamps

In all-steel clamps, the fixed bracket with moulded pressure plate is forged from a single piece, tempered and galvanized. This gives the clamp its special resilient and elastic properties. Compared to rigidly clamping malleable cast iron clamps, the spindle can be turned more often to achieve the required clamping force. All-steel screw clamps are also less sensitive to vibrations. They are therefore indispensable aids for a wide range of applications in wood and metal processing. Since the patent for the hardened and tempered BESSEY all-steel clamp was granted in 1952, it has been the model for many other innovative clamping tools from BESSEY. These include lever and high-performance clamps as well as other special all-steel screw clamps: One is the Omega screw clamp GMZ, which offers maximum elasticity and safety, and the other is the KombiKlamp SG-VAD, which fixes round, oval and angled workpieces easily and securely with its clamping attachment.
